IMS Software and Kumari Bank Launch Nepal’s First ERP-Integrated Collateral Free Digital Lending Platform

25 Jun, 2026

Access to business financing has always been one of the biggest challenges for small and medium-sized businesses in Nepal. Traditional loan processes often involve collateral, extensive paperwork, multiple bank visits, and long approval timelines, making it difficult for businesses to access funds when they need them most.

To address this challenge, IMS Software Pvt. Ltd., as the Technical Service Provider (TSP), has partnered with Kumari Bank Limited to launch IMS Digital Lending – Nepal’s first ERP-integrated digital lending platform.

The solution enables eligible IMS ERP users to apply for collateral-free business loans directly from their ERP dashboard. By using business data such as sales transactions, inventory, purchases, and receivables, the platform helps evaluate loan eligibility based on bank-defined criteria, making the lending process faster, simpler, and more transparent.

A Smarter Way to Access Business Financing

Instead of visiting bank branches, filling out multiple forms, and waiting weeks for approval, businesses can check their eligibility, submit loan applications, upload required documents, and track their application status directly through the IMS platform.

The platform has already completed a successful pilot with one of IMS Software’s business clients banking with Kumari Bank. During the pilot, a real digital business loan was successfully disbursed using actual business performance data, demonstrating the practical application of data-driven lending in Nepal.

Supporting Financial Inclusion Through Technology

With more than 900,000 SMEs operating across Nepal, many businesses still struggle to access formal financing due to collateral requirements and complex lending procedures. IMS Digital Lending aims to bridge this gap by bringing banking services closer to businesses through the ERP system they already use every day.

The collaboration between IMS Software and Kumari Bank represents a significant step towards digital financial services, supporting entrepreneurship, business expansion, and financial inclusion through technology.

As Nepal continues to embrace digital transformation, IMS Digital Lending sets a new benchmark by connecting business operations with business financing helping businesses grow with greater confidence and convenience.
