IMS Software Private Limited was established in 2000 AD as a Private company with the vision to carry out full IT Solutions for the businesses in Nepal. Ever since our establishment, we have been involved in developing software that helps fulfill demands of the local market, such as IRD approved IMS POS software, IMS Restaurant Software, IMS Distribution Management, IMS Petrol Pump Management, IMS Parking Management, and many more.
Today, we are proud to be associated with more than 20,000 retail & restaurant clients in Nepal, India, Malaysia and Japan. Worldwide giant brands like Patanjali & Nestle are using IMS Distribution Management Software in all their Importers, Distributors, and Franchises in India (Patanjali) & Nepal (Patanjali & Nestle). We have more than 3000 satisfied customers in Nepal who are using different types of software of IMS.
OUR HISTORY
2000 AD Establishment
IMS started its journey with two computers, one 10 x 10 feet room and 4 working partners. That time, we not only had to convince our clients to buy our solution, we had to actually explain that software are like any other merchandise which needed to be bought and maintained.
2003 AD Landing our first client
After many challenges along the way, IMS finally landed a client who entrusted young innovators like us in year 2003, a prestigious departmental store in Pokhara which just started back then and is known as Saleways & Salesberry these days. Once our software started rolling out in the market there were still few hiccups but as a team we grew together and tackled all the hiccups that came along the way. One customer has been increasing ever since after.
2006 AD Landing the biggest supermarket in Nepal :
IMS got its biggest break till that time in the year 2006 when a Giant Departmental Store “Bhatbhateni” approached us to switch their existing software with our software as a vision to expand with their first branch at Maharajgunj. Ever since our software was implemented successfully in BBSM, there was no turning back.
2015 AD IMS landed its first client abroad in Malaysia
IMS took the greatest leap towards its success when we finalized our first client abroad in Malaysia during the year 2015 and we were finally able to cater the international needs as well.
2017 AD We branched to Butwal and later to Pokhara
IMS then acknowledged the need for business software in different parts of Nepal, therefore we branched to Butwal and later in Pokhara. Since then we have been improving our market position, alongside gaining the trust of many clients in the western region of Nepal.
2019 AD Further Success
Developed and Implemented Software Solutions for Nestle Nepal and Patanjali India.
IMS Software was able to gain the trust of its very first client in 2003. After this, we continued to innovate and develop software aimed towards different business needs and served clients which included small businesses to big corporate houses. Later IMS took a huge leap towards its success by landing its first client abroad in Malaysia in the year 2015 and we were finally able to cater to international needs as well. IMS then acknowledged the need for software in different parts of Nepal, so we branched to Butwal and later to Pokhara. Since then we have been improving our market position, alongside gaining the trust of many clients in the western region of Nepal as well. In 2019 we gained one of our biggest clients Patanjali India followed by Nestle. Starting from 3 computers to currently having 20000 + clients all over the world, IMS software continues to innovate and lead the market. To this date, we have not just helped businesses inside Nepal, but internationally as well. We have our services spread to Malaysia, India, and Japan.
